It is of vital importance to check the mediclaim policy pertaining to its coverage of various disease, disorders and illnesses. Pre-existing conditions are not covered under the mediclaim insurance plan. Every insurance provider has a list of exclusions for which they do not extend the coverage; one must carefully go through it and then decide on the suitability of such a mediclaim policy based on one’s specific needs.
